Coin Mercantile is proud to present the second series in the Star Wars set being issued by the island country of Niue and minted by the New Zealand Mint.
With the success of the first series of Star Wars coins, who wasn't expecting a grand following?
The New Zealand Mint has released two new four 1oz Silver Proof Coin Sets and 10 of 40 Silver-Plated Star Wars coins.
The sets follow suit in the packaging with the Millennium Falcon and Darth Vader designs but the coins have changed. This round features Yoda, Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker, and Queen Amidala. The two sets only vary in the case.
For the Silver-Plated coins, there will be a total of 40 in total but only 10 have been released at this time.
The 10 released at this time are C-3PO, Yoda, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Emperor Palpatine, Han Solo, Chewbacce, Obi-Wan Kenobi, R2-D2, and Luke Skywalker. The following 30 will be sure to feature the full cast of both good and bad buys from the grand saga of Star Wars.
