Coin of the Week Oct. 11th

This week's coin of the week comes from the historical country of Russia.

Celebrating the 1150th of the Origin of Russian Statehood in Gold and Silver, Russia has displayed its great level on craftsmanship on 1oz and 1 Kilogram, Silver and Gold slates. Each coin features a different Reverse image depicting the historical anniversary.

Our featured coin of the week is the One Kilogram Silver version. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation spared no expense in creating such an exquisite piece of numismatic art. Every detail of this coin shows the quality that we have come to love from the great country of Russia.

The Reverse of this coin features a detachment of armed riders going along a large body of water from Novgorod down the trade route's of east, west, north and south as Prince Oleg gathers favor in the region before the governing bodies in the area banded together to form unity under one nation.
